Rainbow Dash!

Made for a MLP group I did with my friends

Everyone seems to love my wig...A LOT. I do too! I feel it's the only thing that really "makes" the costume.

The wig is actually 1.5 wigs put together. It started as a Rainbow "Punk" style wig. Bangs were restyled and and another half of a Rainbow wig was added to make the ponytail. Voila.

This costume was really rushed, made in 2 days actually, and I was a bit rushed getting into it the day my group wore it, so there are little things I still need to do to it or change on the shorts, wigs, and track jacket that I just didn't have time to do.

Jacket was bought in the L.A. Fabric District. I ironed on the letters and the bf has an embroidery machine that we used to make the giant cutie mark (and the cutie mark on the shorts). Ideally I had wanted to modify the jacket in such a way that it already had wings attached to it, or could have a slit for the wings to poke through...but I simply ran out of time to do anything more than put the appliques on.

But, for a rushed together costume...I'm pretty happy with it and more importantly, it was SO much FUN to wear!
