If I'm not mistaken, this is my first superhero costume! And Marvel to boot, despite pretty much only reading DC comics growing up XD

I've always loved Jean Grey, especially as designed by Jim Lee. That massive head of fiery red hair. Trademark yellow and blue suit. It's just so visual and colorful!

I don't think of myself as the type to pull off a character like Jean Grey - tall, curvacious and gorgeous...but I had such a desire to make this outfit, that I just couldn't resist giving it a shot.

My bf helps out a lot of my costumes, but I'm proud to say that most of this costume was actually done by me this time :) IThe main thing he did was the face mask, which was formed out of Wonderflex.

Great costume! I love how the face mask is done. I just did Jean Grey but with a golden suit instead and I must say I had a hard time with the head...
