This summer con season has really buried me into the ground this year. Anime Expo and San Diego Comic Con were a flurry of sleepless nights and stress finishing up new costumes. I'm super happy to have made some new outfits this year, and am eager to work on a few more before the year is done, but right now I'm down with Con Sars after Comic Con D: It's been a week and I'm still fighting it pretty hard.

Up next are back to back conventions - Star Wars Celebration CVI and Dragon*Con!

I am incredibly depressed that time and lack of funds have prevented me from making anything new to show off for CVI, but I'm still hoping to have a good time. I'm greatly looking forward to Dragon*con and some well-deserved hanging out and partying with very dear friends.

Aside from attending some smaller cons local to Southern California, this will pretty much be it for me for the con season of 2012! I already can't wait for next year's cons

Hope to see some of you at those cons! And I hope the year has been treating all of you well.

I don't know how you people do it...keep so many networking site updates - Deviantart, Cosplay.com, Facebook, Twitter, LiveJournal, personal website...blah! I can't do it XD

Can't believe I haven't had an entry since July...how sad.

Anyhoo...Comic Con was AWESOME, and Dragon*Con was AWESOMER...yes, I actually graduated with a Master's in English to be able to say things like AWESOMER. Already pre-reg'd for both of those cons for 2010. Woo! Most likely the only cons I'll attend, unless I visit AX for a day or two like I did this year. I miss the good ol' days of college when I would attend about a half dozen cons...le sigh.

Really disappointed with CV being in Orlando in August. Believe me, I have more than enough reasons to want to go to Orlando. But having it in August is...don't even get me started. I could rant about it for hours. Just plain dumb. So I hope to see most of you at SDCC and/or D*C instead!

Not really sure what costumes are on my list to be worked on. I didn't do half of what I wanted to this year, and I already had a list of new ideas for 2010...we'll see what happens. Surpises are fun!
